This is an easy recipe for Homemade Freezer Strawberry Jam.

Homemade Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

2 c. strawberries, crushed

4 c. white sugar

Sure Jell Fruit Pectin

Jelly Jars

Instructions

Step 1: Sterilize jars and lids

Step 2: Strawberries, Wash, cut off stems and crush in your blender.

Step 3: In a bowl add 2 cups of crushed strawberries and 4 cups of white sugar. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Pectin Time. Add pectin powder to ¾ cups of boiling water and stir for 1 minute.

Step 5: Add boiling hot pectin mixture to your strawberry and sugar mixture and stir for 3 minutes or until the sugar in resolved.

Step 6: Using a funnel add jam to clean jars. Add lids and cover with a clean towel on your counter for 24 hours then place in freezer. They will stay good for up to a year.

One batch fills two 8 oz jars and one quart size jar.
